Reflection on the Hazel presentation

What an interesting day today was. To begin with, my day started of by waking up at 5am because of the sleepless night I had the day before. I decided to go early to school to start preparing for the Hazel presentation to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Ten minutes prior to the presentation, I felt that my nerves were starting to emerge and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach already. Overall, I felt that the presentation went as planned however, as always, there is always room for improvement. The biggest problem I had was that I misunderstood a question that was presented by the teacher. The question was how relevant the quote was for the presentation and she was referring to the image of the monkey and a little quote we had at the end. What happened was that I thought the question was based on the quote we had on a previous side which mentioned age & beauty. My partner for the presentation was Fynne and we divided the work of the power point between us. She was personally responsible for that picture and therefore it would have been a better  if she answered the question, because I personally did not see the relevance of it. Now that I think about, I believe that I should have made sure that I understood the question before I attempted to answer it. It came to no surprise that the reaction from the teacher was puzzled and slightly confused.  All in all,  I believe that Fynne and I worked together well and I am happy to have her as a partner because we think alike in many ways and we get the work done when needed.
As the day progressed I read through all the feedback I received from my peers and I was satisfied with the results. Many had written that I spoke clear although I could have thought about possible questions before-hand and therefore structured my answers more clearly. In addition, I think I actually did better than I expected because as my previous post mentioned, I read from sheets during presentations and this time I only took a few glimpse at my paper and improvised the rest. Now, it only comes back to the actual results of the presentation which I will be receiving from the teacher shortly. In the next post, I will post pictures of the presentation for the readers of this blog to get a better picture of the work that was done.
